Q: What are your rental delivery areas?

A: Indianapolis, Lawrence, Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Zionsville, Beech Grove, Southport, Greenwood,  Brownsburg, Cumberland, New Palestine, Avon, Plainfield, Mooresville, Clermont.

 

Q: Is there a delivery fee?

A: In some cases, yes, but not always. It depends on your proximity to our location. We will let you know if there is a delivery fee when we confirm your order by phone.

 

Q: When do you deliver?

A: We can deliver seven days a week. We deliver the night before the rental period begins. You can request a specific time for delivery as well. We will pick up the greeting in the evening of the last day of the rental period.

 

Q: Does someone need to be home during delivery or pick-up?

A: No one needs to be home, However, please inform us if there are any underlining structures such as sprinkler systems. Our stakes are small in diameter and can work around most obstacles. If gated community, please remember to have pass waiting for us to get in.

 

Q: Do you deliver to condos/apartments?

A: If there is an open area that will accommodate our Grasshopper Greeting and the rules allow, then we can deliver to these locations. Please be aware, no refunds will be issued if we arrive at the delivery site and property management stops us from setting up.

 

Q: Can I rent a Grasshopper Greeting for someone else?

A: You bet! Make sure when reserving a Greeting to let us know it’s a Surprise. When renting make sure that the receipt address is correct.

 

Q: How are themes personalized?

A: You can always add a name, age, nickname, business name, or something more personal to any Grasshopper Greeting rental.

 

Q: How big are the letters, numbers, and characters?

A:  Letters and numbers are 23” tall and the size of the characters varies.

 

Q: What are your signs made of?

A: They are PVC plastic corrugated construction. The letters, numbers, and characters are machine cut and made of vibrant colors.  The characters have a colorful digitally printed and laminated vinyl skin attached to it for extra durability and character. 

 

Q: How are the signs installed?

A: Grasshopper Greetings are put into the ground with a metal stake.

 

Q: Can the letters and/or stand-ups withstand rain?

A: Yes, the letters and stand-ups are made of a durable but lightweight corrugated plastic

 

Q: Can I mow and water my lawn?

A: No, these signs are only up for a short while. Although they are made of plastic and water would not hurt them. We would very much prefer to pick up free of grass debris and dry signs whenever possible.

 

Q: What if I want to move the sign?

A:  If you would like to move the location, please let us know and we will do it for you. A delivery fee may apply for each time we come out to move your sign. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to people or property that occurs if you try to move our sign.

 

Q: Are we held responsible for damaged or missing signs?

A: Yes, the customer will be charged the replacement fee of any damaged or missing signs.

 

Q: What if the greeting sign becomes damaged?

 A: If you notice any damage as a result of severe weather, please let us know right away. We reserve the right to charge a $50 fee if our sign is stolen or intentionally damaged.

 

Q: What if the recipient or renter has a pet loose?

A: We would attempt to call you and ask that you put the pet away. If we are not able to speak to you or the recipient, Grasshopper Greetings will not set-up and no refund will be issued. Please make sure all pets are abstained.

 

Q: May children play on the sign?

A: Our greetings are NOT designed to be climbed on by children. We cannot be held responsible for injury. Greeting signs are not to be used as a toy or maze.

 

Q: How long can I rent the sign?

A: Usually, we rent for two days; however, if you want it for just one day or more than two days, we will accommodate you.

 

Q: How much is the rental fee?

A: Pricing varies, checkout our rental fee page for pricing details.

 

Q: What does the price include?

A:  Each greeting rental includes delivery, set-up, and take-down.

 

Q: How much lead-time do you require?

A: Please contact us as soon as possible. Once we have your order request, we will confirm availability. Payment secures your reservation.

 

Q: When is payment due?

A: Payment is required when you call to place your order. We cannot hold a reservation without payment. No deposits are accepted.

 

Q: What methods of payment are accepted?

A: We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

 

Q; What about information privacy?

A: We never share or sell your information with anyone. Phone orders paid by credit card go only to our bank and nowhere else. We value your privacy as much as we value ours.

 

Q: Do you take pictures of the “Grasshopper Greetings” for your website?

A: From time to time we may askcustomers for this privilege so we can increase our photo gallery. However, you have every right to say no.

 

Refund Policy: You will receive a refund of rental fees if you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours in advance.  If extreme weather prevents us from delivering your sign, we will attempt to redeliver within the next 1-2 days. If we cannot deliver the sign, we will issue a refund. If we make a mistake on the personalization, please notify us immediately and we will replace it ASAP. You will NOT receive a refund if the homeowner stops us from setting up, if we are asked to remove the display, if we are given the wrong address, if we are given the wrong personalization, if we are not allowed access into a gated community, if the homeowner's dog is loose or for any other reason beyond our control.
